Tips for staying healthy at work
- Stick to your scheduled hours.
- Always make sure you take your lunch break and away from your desk.
- Do more complex tasks in the morning.
- Is there flexibility with working from home 1 or 2 days a week and if not you could ask as a reasonable adjustment.
- Prepare for work the night before – pack your bag, get your lunch ready
- Use your annual leave regularly throughout the year – aim to book some in every 6-8 weeks.
- Don’t let work issues get to crisis point before seeking help talk to your MS nurse.
- Occupational Health assessments are a positive thing – they help guide your employer in what adjustments they should be considering.
